AKIRA BACK TORONTO RESTAURANT

AKIRA BACK TORONTO RESTAURANT

On Saturday night, Steve and I revisited **Akira Back** in Toronto after quite some time, and it felt just as special as I remembered.

While this is the type of restaurant where you might find yourself waiting for a table, the food is truly worth it.

This time, we sat at the bar, and our bartender/server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which added a nice personal touch to our experience.

It also happened to be the first weekend of TIFF, so the place was buzzing with energy. Parties were in full swing, and you could feel the excitement with eager fans hoping for a celebrity sighting, making the atmosphere even more electric.

Despite the crowd, Akira Back still delivered an exceptional dining experience with food that continues to stand out.

Whether you’re catching the buzz of a film festival or just enjoying a biz dinner or date night out, this spot always offers something memorable.

Highlights from our late dinner but so much more that is fabulous here
Salmon Tataki
Miso Eggplant
Seared Branzino

Worth noting
Japanese cuisine with Korean accents from a Michelin Star chef
Excellent wine list
Dark atmosphere
Modern sophisticated and hip vibes
