✨ Celebrating July 4th and My Birthday Eve at AVRA Madison ✨🎉

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot than Avra Madison to celebrate the 4th of July and the night before my birthday.
It was extra special because we shared it with our cousins Jay and Chelsea, and the entire evening was flawless from start to finish.
From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt both elegant and lively. Our server (a very memorable 6’6” tall gem) was beyond attentive, charming, and made us laugh. He was an absolute highlight! 🤪
🍽️ The food? Absolutely phenomenal! We started with house-marinated olives, sashimi crudo (a must! see the pic, it’s a showstopper), and a trio of hummus and dips. The Greek salad with tomatoes, cucumber, olives, and a slab of feta was perfectly refreshing. For mains, we shared perfectly grilled lamb chops and delicate sea bass, paired with a red wine (we don’t pair the typical way) and vodka sodas.
🎂 Even though I rarely indulge in dessert, the coconut cream pie and ice cream were too good to pass up — and totally worth every bite!
And a big thank you to Jay for picking such a fabulous spot! Even though Chels insists her lamb chops are better, we’ll just have to test that theory next time — in your kitchen, chef. 😄
